BTNL Partner Spence Taylor Attends Annual Meeting Of The American College Of Coverage Counsel

From May 10th through 12th, Spence Taylor attended the annual meeting of the American College of Coverage Counsel in Chicago. Established in 2012, the ACCC is the preeminent association of U.S., Canadian, and Bermudan lawyers who represent the interests of insurers and policyholders. Taylor was admitted as a Fellow of the ACCC in 2016 and is one of only two Fellows admitted from Alabama.

Topics at this year’s meeting included coverage for per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAs) claims, developments concerning complex Directors and Officers claims, and settlement considerations involving longtail claims.

The mission of the ACCC is to “advance the creative, ethical, and efficient adjudication of insurance coverage and extracontractual disputes; to enhance the civility and quality of the practice of insurance law; to provide peer-reviewed scholarship; and to improve of the relationship between and among the members of our profession.”
