Jim Noles Joins Faculty Of Auburn University’s College Of Forestry, Wildlife, And Environment
With a mixture of sadness and pride, BTNL announces that Jim Noles, one of the firm’s four founding partners, is retiring from the full-time practice of law to accept a position as Professor of Practice with Auburn University.
In Auburn’s College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Environment, Jim will teach Environmental Law and related courses, be responsible for the CFWE’s Environmental Law minor, and work to develop a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Law for the college’s graduate students. His duties will commence in January 2025 with the spring semester.
Jim will remain with BTNL in an “Of Counsel” capacity, in which he will provide legal counsel with respect to ongoing matters, assist in the continued development of the firm’s environmental law practice, and generally support BTNL’s further growth into 2025 and beyond.
