BTNL Partner Spence Taylor Inducted as Alabama Law Fellow

On April 11, 2026, the Alabama Law Foundation inducted Spence Taylor as a member of its Fellows program. Spence joined 30 of his colleagues from across the state of Alabama as the Foundation’s newest fellows – an exceptional cohort of lawyers who have exhibited an unwavering commitment to bettering their communities and the state. Membership in the Fellows is limited to no more than 1% of Alabama State Bar members.

Taylor, who currently serves as Barze Taylor Noles Lowther LLC’s managing partner, is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and the University of Alabama School of Law. For nearly 30 years, Spence’s practice has centered on commercial insurance coverage and extra-contractual litigation, representing insurers and insureds throughout the country. He is one of a handful of Alabama attorneys selected as a Fellow in the American College of Coverage Counsel, the preeminent association of U.S. and Canadian lawyers who represent the interests of insurers and policyholders.

About the Alabama Law Foundation: The Alabama Law Foundation provides access to justice for all and respect for and understanding of the law. As the only charitable, tax-exempt organization affiliated with the Alabama State Bar, the Alabama Law Foundation administers several separate programs, each providing ways for lawyers to better their profession and their communities.
